Take the reins implementing green measures in a production company. In this game, you must help an organization transition into a greener company by selecting the solutions you believe to be the best for the situation. You are a manager in a middle-sized company that processes organic material and sells it to, for the most part, pharmaceutical manufacturers. As a result of ever-increasing energy prices, you have been appointed by upper management to implement a range of actions to reduce the amount of energy the company is spending each month. This is not only an opportunity to save some money, but also a good opportunity to become more environmentally conscious.

Will you choose to focus on finding the greenest solutions - or do you prefer cheaper solutions that will satisfy upper management but perhaps provide less of an effect?

This scenario was developed as a corporate version of the Energy game from the Game4Green project with Actee. This is a short scenario intended for anyone who want to explore the effects of sustainable measures in organizations.

Game For Green has three skilled partners leading the project and five strong contributors representing municipalities and private companies. The partners are Roskilde University, Actee, and Provice, covering research in digital behavior design and AI, development and launch of the Game4Green platform, and green business development and sustainable transformation, respectively. The municipalities of Høje-Taastrup, Vallensbæk, and Vejle are responsible for engaging citizens and distributing and learning from the game. HOFOR provides detailed knowledge about water and district heating consumption, and Implement Consulting Group contributes expertise in gamification and testing the game platform.
